Each year, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma worked with us on creating individual show artwork for the following calendar year. Every year had its own unique illustration style, but I added some restrictions to myself to create a cohesive look for the shows.

The shows that played at the Plaza theatre were in a warm color scheme, and shows that played at the Civic Center were a cool color scheme. For this project, I generally pored over research on each show to make sure I represented them accurately. This was a fun project where I’d often explore new techniques to stretch my creative capabilities.
